Timo Kalevi Forss is a Finnish writer, researcher and musician. His 2019 book Tähdet Meren Yllä is named after a classic Finnish Tango composed by Unto Mononen in 1963, which had been recorded by many of the greats of the genre. The book represents the first comprehensive written history of Finnish Tango and includes a chapter on the FINtango festival. The book is unfortunately so far only available in Finnish language. But Forss has given lively presentations on the topic of his book in English at various FINtango Festivals.
