DJ Vilunki 3000 is one of the many guises of DJ, producer and instrumentalist Mikko Viljakainen. He has played in numerous bands, including avant-garde electro formation “Op: I Bastards”, The Barefoot Brothers, The Flaming Sideburns, Uusi Fantasia, Larry and the Lefthanded, DJ Candle In The Wind, Methadrone U.S.A. , Suad and Putte Haus Boys Band.
Viljakainen is known for a heavy synth sound, loose voices, guitar maneuvers and bewitching album covers. He has released numerous records and EPs and is associated with the Norwegian label SEX TAGS. He also won the 2017 “Finlands graphic designer of the year” award.
