Leena Erholtz and Mika Lustig are from Kuopio in eastern Finland. They met one summer evening when Mika asked Leena to dance a tango with him during a “lavatanssit“ event in an outdoor dance restaurant by a lake. Since then, the couple have not only been sharing their passion for dancing but also their life.
Leena & Mika can not only teach dances like tango, jenkka, humppa and others, they also have great knowledge of the cultural background and history of social dancing in Finland.
Leena & Mika contribute to the FINtango festival program as members of the Finnish National Society of Social Dancing (SUSEL).
