This event unfortunately had to be postponed until 2022, due to Covid 19 travel restrictions.
Tartu in Estonia and Tampere in Finland have a lot in common: Both are riverside mid-size cities with a major university. They have also had a city partnership since 1992.
In July 2021, FINtango together with our local partner Tampere Maja were planning for the first time ever to organise a festival in Estonia. Consider it a warm-up for the 30th anniversary celebration of the city partnership in 2022.
Everyone knows the Estonians love to sing together. Now let’s see how they do the Finnish Tango!
The location is perfect: Outdoors and downtown, beautifully situated between historic buildings and a riverside park.
