FINtangoFi – Festival of Finnish Tango, Nature and Sauna

This very special holiday week is a magnificent way to spend and celebrate the last days of summer.

Papinniemi camping area, Juhola’s buffalo barn, surrounding countryside and nature create an extraordinary setting for passionate music presented from heart,
workshops, trips, dancing, DJs, local slow food, sauna-meister and for other authentic experiences.

FINtangoFI festival week is for everyone. For young, old, rich, poor and for those with very hairy legs.

Most of our program is free of charge. Admission fee to concerts is between 5-10€.

DAILY PROGRAM FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY

8-16 Independent program (canoe trips, workshops, berry picking, fishing, cooking…)
16-18 Holy forest, holy lake: Acoustic and electronic tunes by MERJA KOKKONEN alias ISLAJA & co.
18-23 DJs & saunas – Radio Helsinki DJs and DJs from Hamburg with a German sauna-meister
tango and acroyoga workshops
19 LIVE concerts. Artists for each day will be presented later.
Dinner – Common dining inspired by local ingredients, nature and heritage.
Local talk – interview tapes of local people. Only in finnish, sorry.
Every evening there is a change to meet a acroyoga teacher and a traditional Kalevala healer. Free use of canoes and SUP-boards.
