FINtango is proud to contribute to the program of the 2021 Heimat EUROPA movie festival, which features a special program of Finland-themed movies and live music.
From 7-29 August, the Fruchtmarkt (fruit market) in the centre of the old town of Simmern (Hunsrück), Germany is the beautiful outdoor venue for the festival program. Since 2019, Simmern and the Finnish town of Mänttä-Vilppula have city partnership.
On 13.8. the band Tangon Taikaa will introduce the festival audience to the magic of Finnish Tango music. Their concert will be followed by a screening of the documentary movie Midsummer Night’s Tango, which accompanies three Argentinian Tango musicians on a journey to explore the tango in Finland.
